You know, the problem with going raw doesn’t start when two consenting adults do it, who are 100% clean. It is when guys take off condoms without saying anything, or when people do not get tested, or lie about their tests, or had one months before the intercourse and kept having sex without condoms. Like HPV tests are not that common, a lot of the STI’s and STD’s are 100% asymptomatic. There isn’t even a test for all.strains of HPV. And some can make you infertile.

Going raw is very popular in Scandinavia, and guess what, it is the chlamidya capital region of the world. In Uppsala, there is drug resistant form of chlamidya that appeared. Probably bc people did not even take their medications properly.

So when you are not absolutely certain about being safe disease-wise: the difference in sensation is just not worth the risk. And it is very hard to be sure about being safe.

Women are more at risk with raw sex. We can have worse consequences from STI’s and STD’s, not to mention getting pregnant.

But yes, all precautions taken, sure. But that would only work in a situation where your partner is consistent, and does not sleep with others bare back. Even if it is an fwb relationship.

Bottom line is, make sure you are both / all safe🙏 Otherwise it is just reckless.
