Wit all that being said, I do not agree woth your premise. A lot of the stuff you return are never resold and perfectly fine goods het trashed. If you want to fisght big companies, sinoly stop buying from them. A dishonest, overly comolicated shceme like this, that’s based on assumptions will do no good. Buy local, from sustainable companies. Buy from new indie tech companies if yoh want to fight the monopoly of the big retailers.

I say it as an economist,- you buying and returning someting- translates to them as growth in business. Growth in menpower needed, in time, in services. It functions much like the GDP does when there is an oil spill and the country spemds on cleaning it up.. bamm more activity, more gdp!
