Not at all. It is about taking responsibility for past crimes against humanity — such as slavery and exploitation countries with rich resources but less capital. It is more than ecological, racial and gender justice. It allows us to rethink what humanity, nature and justice means on a more holistoc and multidimensional level, accross generations.
It helps us to look at our planetary future as an equitable future for everybody, transcending the myopia of profit optimalisation for the sake of profit.
It lets us see the bigger picture, and to optimise our social, economic, institutional systems within the ecologycal system, of which we are part of, and none of the pillars of society can exist independently from.
Like any other construct, capitalism is also imbedded in nature and the living systems and can’t exist independently from it.
