Jenny, I am so very proud of the inner work your are doing. Remember: nobody's comfort is worth more than your truth. Keep voicing your truth for all the Asian kids' sake. Calling subtle racist things out is more powerful than we think. It allows us to have a conversation about the ingrained, systemic privilege white people do not even notice they have.

Just as an an example: The other day I saw a company making Black skin-tone band-aids. It struck me, that I never even thought about the fact that band-aids were made to match our skin-tones. It just goes to show the deep layers of privilege we have to dig down to and bring to the surface, bring out to the light to everyone to see.
