It is fine to point out the FAO’s mistake of comparing apples with oranges.

It does not however diminish the lifetime impact of industrial animal farming, habitat loss, antibiotic resistance, zoonic disease spread, cruel practices, and the insanity of valuing the fact that we like how animal flesh tastes more than an animal’s desire to live on.

Antibiotic resistance is set to kill more people than cancer, and the number one cause is that feed farm animals antibiotics so they survive the conditions we keep them just long enough.

Antibiotic resistance can render a mundane cut deadly.
