Hi, yes! It’s the Hawaii’an term. It’s my personal favourite!

Thanks for the insightful comment, because it all depends on context. Once you have the context of the islands and the amazing melting pot, it gets different, because with the question you don’t point out the other’s alienness and how different they are. You rejoice in the your sameness, in the colorful culture you share. I think that’s the hufe difference there, and it’s not about the phrase ultimately.
