Congrats for your surgery, and thank you for sharing your story! I can only imagine how much it affected you, and I am baffled to read that those around you thought the surgery was not “funtional". I don’t see how a rhinoplasty is more functional.or necessary in any way. (unless they have difficulty breathing)

To me, it sounds like the most liberating, most “useful" of experiences, and I am happy for you to have done it!
