Hey Jessica,

As an environmental scientist who lives on the road and consults orgs pro bono in her free time, here is my take on this part:

- The best kind of investment is in public transport, especially in (maglev) trains, and synching international train schedules. For example, Europe is so small, but in some areas, trains are outdated, slow, and regional and international trains are not synched enough to make travel seamless. Train tickets often cost more than flying. Investing and subsidies in public transport- trains- is the best thing we can do to cut out unnecessary jet travel.

- I don't think limiting people's right to free movement is such a great idea if we do not have a backup plan.

But yes, limits, such as no flying under a certain number of ppl on board, should limit jet travel. As for private jets: They can simply be banned.
